Task 2: Case Study Summary

- Identify a topic area of interest to you based on the tab options on the right of the page.
- Review 3-5 case summaries that are similar in topic and prepare a 1-3 sentence statement or bullets with advice to school leaders based on the implications from these cases.

Task 4: Read
Read the declaratory order from the Iowa Department of Education regarding school fees and compare allowable fees to what your current school charges students/families. You might have to ask questions or seek documentation from the appropriate person in your local district. Be prepared to share (during class time) any fees that you found out were being charged and should not be or others that were a surprise to you (surprise students/families could or could not be charged) based on the declaratory order.
